Baked Asparagus

2 lb Asparagus
6 Hard-boiled eggs; sliced
1 Jar Chopped pimentos -; (5 oz)
8 oz Extra-sharp grated cheddar cheese
Paprika
Sauce:
1 cn Cream of mushroom soup
2 tb Fresh lemon juice
1/4 ts Pepper
Cayenne pepper
Salt; to taste

Trim asparagus ends and microwave on high for about six minutes, turning once. (Or steam or blanch until slightly tender.) Spray small (9- by 9-inch) dish with vegetable spray. Layer asparagus, eggs and pimentos in the dish. Combine the sauce ingredients and pour over layers. Top with cheese and sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
